There are certain tracks that stick in your mind because you listen to them at a certain place or time. I bought the album “Sleep through the static” whilst I was living for a year in New Zealand and this is the closing track, an album extra I think.

It’s Jack Johnson at his best, simple strumming guitar and an easy sing along melody. A certain poignancy* and pondering in the lyrics and  it struck a chord, especially being so far away from home and loved ones and hearing lines such as “Home is wherever we are if there’s love there too”.
But in all of that the charm of this song is in it simplisticity and easy listening, a great track for chilling out.
