Today’s my wedding anniversary and there are definitely tracks that stick with me from what was a brilliant day. We got married in a hotel and weren’t therefore restricted to having hymns at the actual wedding and my wife suggested Hey Soul Sister as a track to walk out to. I’d heard of Train from their hit Drops of Jupiter but wasn’t familiar with this song, I didn’t realise they were still even going.
I was working away at the time and had to go and find it on YouTube and whilst I was slightly put off by the lead singers inability to dress his age the song was spot on. It was a great up beat tune to walk out of the ceremony to and fit perfectly on the day. Every time I hear that opening ukulele it brightens things instantly.
