Some people describe 432 Hz music as more relaxing, natural, or harmonious. There have also been small studies investigating possible differences in subjective responses between 432 Hz and 440 Hz tuning.
However, claims that 432 Hz has uniquely powerful healing properties or produces specific physiological effects should be treated cautiously. There is not strong scientific evidence establishing 432 Hz as a universally superior or medically therapeutic tuning standard.

What Is 440 Hz?
440 Hz is commonly used as the reference frequency for the musical note A4 in modern tuning.

What About Solfeggio Frequencies?
Another popular subject in online discussions about sound is the Solfeggio frequencies, including frequencies such as 396 Hz, 417 Hz, 528 Hz, 639 Hz, and others.
These frequencies are frequently associated online with concepts such as relaxation, emotional balance, meditation, or healing.
However, the scientific evidence supporting specific claims about individual Solfeggio frequencies remains limited. Their popularity is better understood as part of the broader world of sound meditation, wellness music, ambient music, and personal listening rituals rather than established medical treatment.
Someone may genuinely find a particular frequency-based piece relaxing without that proving that the frequency itself has a unique biological effect.
Frequency and Emotion Are More Complicated Than One Number
One of the biggest misconceptions about music frequencies is the idea that a single frequency automatically produces a specific emotion.
In reality, musical perception is much more complicated.
Tempo, harmony, melody, rhythm, volume, instrumentation, arrangement, lyrics, cultural associations, production techniques, and personal memories can all influence how someone experiences a song.
