Music is my life. Without it, I wouldn't be able to find the happiness and the emotional connection that it brings to the world around us. I am heading into my 40s and as a result, I believe that I have been brought up in an era where music has pushed boundaries. I caught the end of the 80s, I fell in love with the change during the 90s and embraced the futuristic 00's. Music is all-giving and it is always there when I need it!

When Enema of the State first appeared on my radar, it was all thanks to a friend of mine. “You’ve got to listen to this album, it’s brilliant” he said. I hadn’t heard of them, I had no idea what to expect but I had to put my trust in him. I am glad I did. This album is as iconic in sound as it is for its album art. Discovery by Daft Punk, is an album that has continued to grow year after year for me. This iconic album was released in 2001 and for me, it changed the face of futuristic dance music. Obviously, the first song that gripped me was One More Time. A classic, but it’s the way in which Daft Punk sampled the ‘More Spell on You’ by Eddie Johns that makes this track even better.
