Residing down in Tampa, Fl. Dee Wile (pronounced while) is a rapper with a fiercely independent streak. With a style that pairs terse, simple lyricism with a knack for narrative, Wile took inspiration from Down South rap legends like Starlito and Curren$y and began rapping in 2015, gradually building word-of-mouth buzz through several self-released mixtapes. Wile made his debut in 2016 with “Change For a Dollar”, followed by “While You Wait” in 2017, 2 Piece Spicy, Chocolate Covered Strawberries and “Free Game” all before the midway point of 2018 His November 2018 mixtape The Quarter Oz even caught the eye of bay area legend “Too Short”. Dee cruised through 2019 with collaboration projects Play Cuzzins(with Willy-G) & Magic and Bird(with VK Tuneage). By this point, he had begun touring across the southern region of the United States. Rather than sign on with a label, the talented MC instead decided to remain independent. Dee kicked of 2020 with his follow up to 2018’s Free Game; Too Much Game. Doing so impressively selling over 5k albums the first week during the 2020 pandemic. To date Dee Wile has amassed over 1,000,000 streams independently. Having accomplished so much in such a short period of time, Dee Wile proves that he is definitely one of the artist to watch in the near future.
